Primary Years Online Resources
Royal Oak is happy to share some of our resources and sample schedules as we navigate this new world of learning from home.
Learning at home is a wonderful and unique opportunity for our learners - the world and our homes are full of unique learning at every turn. From learning to make our own bed for the first time, to how to put bread in the toaster to make breakfast, life-learning skills are as important a part of your child's education as the academic curriculum expectations.
Challenge your child to look at the world through a lens of curiosity when you can - why do worms live in the dirt and why do we like them in our gardens? When we add half a cup of milk and half a cup of water to our pancake mix, how much liquid do we have in total?
Please see the sample schedule below for a half day example of what curriculum based learning can look like as well for your
primary years aged child. This schedule includes Math, Language, Community time and Exploration for your family!
Also, in the bottom below is over 100 teacher collected and vetted resources to make at home learning diverse and fun!
